I remember how it was for me couple of years ago when I lived in the city. I was so stressed and I couldn’t find peace of mind. My everyday life made me feel a bit lost and disconnected from myself and from the things I love creating.

I was swinging in between different emotional states caused by my work, stress, and relationships.

 

Only when I started yoga and dived into the ancient wisdom of the Medicine Wheel of the Andes during my training in the Sacred Valley of Peru I connected to a bigger meaning of my life.

​

When I started with yogic practices, I felt such a big effect on my mind: it brought clarity, calm, connection and creativity. I could not imagine my life without it anymore. It made such a difference. With the help of yoga I’ve managed to go through life challenges and transform my being in the world, they helped me to find my purpose and step into my power.

ANCIENT TEACHINGS OF THE PERUVIAN MEDICINE WHEEL

 

I invite you to immerse yourself in understanding guided in the ancient shamanic teachings of the Andean Medicine Wheel I learned from masters in Peru. 

​

The indigenous medicine elders teach us to live life and face life situations by shape-shifting our perception. The problems we face in life cannot be solved by the means with which they were created. We have to shift our perception to a higher realm to find solutions to our problems, conflicts, and diseases, and to experience oneness with all creation.

 

We will begin to learn this ancient way of transforming challenges into opportunities through the 4 stages of perception of the ancient Andean wisdom. Through the practices and the process of shape shifting, we learn to dream the world into being.

Yoga Nidra is an immensely powerful meditation technique. While you rest comfortably in savasana, Yoga Nidra guides you into a profound healing state between waking and sleeping.​

 

Yoga Nidra helps to transform your core beliefs by giving you access to the subconscious mind where those underlying beliefs reside. You discover that the more you connect with your true nature, the more naturally the fear-based beliefs begin to fall away and are replaced by beliefs born of love.

Pranayma

PRANAYAMA

 

Through your breath you can release blockages in your thinking, feelings, and behaviour. When you feel worried or afraid, you hold your breath, which takes away your vital life energy, and makes you feel exhausted and even more stressed.

 

By breathing effectively and fully using the breath through yogic techniques, you will feel more energised, more relaxed, and a lot healthier.

YIN YOGA 

 

Yin yoga for chakra alignment.

​

Chakras are important energy centres in the body, which are connected to our physical, mental and emotional body. These yin yoga sequences for the chakras will help you balance these centres, so that the energy starts to flow easily in your body.

 

You will feel more vital in your body and mind and you will experience movement in the areas, where the energy was stagnant and stuck, you might suddenly become aware of a solution to a problem, or it can be an attitude shift, where something is brought to a perspective and you are able to move forward.

Meditation

MEDITATION

 

I will guide you through different meditations that support you on your journey through the 4 levels of perception based on the ancient Medicine Wheel of the Andes.

​

We all identify sometimes with our thoughts and emotions. Some thoughts and intense emotions can culminate in stress, anxiety, and depression. It is important to recognise that we are not our thoughts and feelings. Meditation helps us realise that we are just the vessels through which they flow.

 

You will begin to feel bigger than your thoughts and emotions, you will be able to see the bigger picture, connect to your purpose and find inner peace.

Journaling

JOURNALING

 

In this programme you will be invited to perform different journaling exercises in relation to the topics in the ancient Medicine Wheel of the Andes. You will also journal in order to express your experiences after practices.

 

One of the biggest benefits of journaling is the ability to track your emotions, which helps you to work out patterns.

CREATIVE EXERCISES

Creativity helps to fight anxiety because it activates the parts of our brain that process emotions. Being creative can increase positive emotions, lessen depressive symptoms, reduce stress, decrease anxiety, and even improve immune system functioning.

 

Through creative thinking you have the ability to see beyond the predictable, and to discover fresh possibilities and new opportunities. Creativity can bring clarity, new ideas, help you acquire new perspectives, envision, grow, expand, live, and enjoy.

WHO AM I?

​

I am Iva Buzhashka, an Art Historian, Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, Arts Educator, the creator of Spark Your Joy. Encounters with Spirituality and Creativity Podcast.

 

Born in a family of architects, I lived in four European capitals, studying arts and culture, investigating ritual patterns in culture and arts as a space of transformation.

 

After years of yoga practice in Amsterdam (NL), a Yoga Teacher Training in the Sacred Valley of Peru, travels around the world, while guiding hundreds of people through profound transformation and towards conscious living, I am currently based in Spain, teaching online and at SHA Wellness Clinic.

 

Through embodiment practices I guide my students on a transformational journey inwards and help them connect to their authentic self and bring their unique being to the world.
