ONLINE PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES
‘Yoga gets the energy body moving, and the energy body is the source of creativity. When we take new
and expansive shapes with the body we are influenced to take new and expansive shapes with the mind.'
- Anne Cushman
What happens in your body when you stand on your head, or twist your body into an unusual shape? Does it have an effect on your brain and on your sense of self?
Yoga benefits us in many ways - a lot more than just being a stress-relief as a good exercise.
Practicing yoga unblocks the energy channels in the body and leads to greater life force, vitality and clarity of mind. The more mental clarity and aliveness you have, the more you are not restricted by mental constraints, and the greater your openness to the world becomes.
ARTS & CULTURE
During my studies in Bulgaria, Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands I have been engaged with academic discourses that address urgent issues of the current society.
My academic research focuses on topics, such as constitution of subjectivity and post-humanist perspectives on identity and agency.
It offers a perspective on contemporary visual arts as a space of transformation.
ONLINE PRANAYAMA CLASSES
'Rather than waiting for experience to alter the breath,
we can deliberately alter the breath to change our experience'
Pranayama allows us to be more aware, be in the present, and focus inward, removing distractions from the outside world.
Through our breath we can release blockages in our thinking, feelings, and behaviour. When we feel worried or afraid, we hold our breath. This action takes away our vital life energy, and makes us feel exhausted and even more stressed.
By breathing effectively and fully using the breath through yogic techniques, we feel more energised, more relaxed and healthier.
